Rose Cottage
A spacious cottage with wonderful panoramic views of village below and the Stara Planina mountains beyond,overlooking pool. Fall in love with beautiful Bulgaria just as we did. We are situated in a quaint farming village but close to Elena which is a cosmopolitan town restored in the style of the Revival period and popular with tourists of all nationalities. A car is essential to explore the surrounding area ,full of waterfalls,rivers ,monuments and monasteries. The village has its own bar and general store stocking essential food supplies. In the summer there is often music and dancing in the bar. Elena has a plethora of traditional mehanas serving bulgarian cuisine

Kevin says: "I stayed at Rose Cottage with my girlfriend, Mel, for two weeks in September. We originally came for just one week but loved it so much we stayed on. The villa itself is furnished to a very high standard and, with the wood-burning stove, is very cosy on cooler evenings. Paul and Caroles dogs, Bonnie and Rosie, also made themselves at home with us, making us feel all the more at home. Paul and Carole were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of advice on things to do and see in the area which was invaluable. They even had a splash about in the pool with us on one particularly memorable evening."
